Saad Mohammad, who dropped out of school has spent years pursuing his dream. This Egyptian Artist Reproduced World’s Largest Holy Quran for a hope to make Guinness World Record. He has just produced a 700 meter long Quran and wishes that this achievement will be featured in the record holders book.
He lives in Gharbia, located in the north of Cairo and loves to decorate Islamic motifs all over the walls and ceilings. He does everything by himself, only hand-painted.
For the past three years, he is putting his all efforts to peruse his dream without any external help. The Holy Quran is made on a 700-meter long scroll with a wooden box with rollers on each side. Not only this, the wooden box is also decorated with amazing and delicate detailing.
He shared his thoughts by saying,
“This Quran is 700 meters long, and of course that’s a large amount of paper. I self-funded this project for the past three years – and I’m an average person. I don’t have assets or anything.”
This Egyptian artist reproduced world’s largest Holy Quran for inclusion in Guinness World Records. As Guinness has said that there is a record for the world’s biggest printed Quran, but there is so far no record holder for the largest handwritten version.
Well, this fact should be appreciated that Mohammad has done everything with his own hands with completely no help from the government or other people.
We hope and pray for this Egyptian man to win the Guinness World Record for the largest hand written Holy Quran.
