The beautiful and glittering ICC Champions Trophy 2017 is on its tour across the world and now it has reached to Karachi. This tour was launched in Dubai and the past week was the inaugural week of this trophy tour. Today the trophy has arrived in Karachi at the Edhi Home to honor the services of Late Abdul Sattar Edhi.
Our favorite cricketer Shahid Afridi, who is also the Pakistan Ambassador of ICC Championship was there, who displayed the beautiful moment for everyone. The trophy was unveiled along with the Edhi family and the kids at the orphanage.
Shahid Afridi said,
“Edhi’s mission should continue. Edhi Sahab has served humanity, it feels really good to be here.”
The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 also travelled to the University of Karachi and Mohatta Palace, where the cricket fans got the amazing chance to see the sparkly trophy. Talking with Shahid Afridi about the occasion he shared that he will definitely travel to England to watch Pak-India match.
“I will definitely go there, Pak-India match is always interesting to watch.”
The trophy has been travelling to various cities around the world and Karachi is the seventh one. After this, the trophy will head towards Johannesburg, South Africa before reaching to England.
Moreover, you will be glad to know that trophy was also taken to the Karachi’s Hawksbay. There two talented captains posed with the trophy, none other than Younis Khan and Shahid Afridi.
